MISSION
Our Community of Illinois, Inc. is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation created to better the lives of children and youth who have been affected by the Illinois foster care system. By working with people from agencies like the Department of Children of Family Services (DCFS), private social service agencies, the Cook County Public Guardian, businesses, corporations and individuals, Our Community of Illinois facilitates access to educational, recreational and vocational opportunities. We seek to supplement the limited governmental resources available to the children and youth of our community through donations, corporate sponsorships and volunteer services. We strive to enrich the lives and inspire hope in the children and youth of Our Community.
